Just a Quick Update!

Hi everyone! I'm sorry I didn't post at all this week! I was on vacation and had no internet. However, I'm back now~and I have some special news!

Leo: Blog of a Not-so-Young Cat is nearing its first Christmas! We are at exactly 2396 pageviews! I couldn't be happier! It's amazing how much this blog has grown! Thanks to all of you guys, we are having our very first Christmas Special! Here at Leo: Boansoyc, we love Christmas and New Year's Eve, so beginning on the December 22nd, and all the way until January 1st, 2015 , I will post special, Christmas Edition pictures of Leo!

Here's a sneak peek, just for you!

I am not impressed.

Personally (Catally, as well), Leo and I celebrate New Year's Eve, so don't be surprised if you see a spike in posts at 11PM (EST) on December 31st!

• I will post twice a day, instead of the usual once. (Leo: You don't post at all..let alone once per day.) Hush, Leo.
• Get ready for an avalanche of photos! I've been planning this for a while now.

Tomorrow is the first day of MSLB!!

I know, I know, I haven't posted in the past 2 weeks. However, I have something extra special cooked up for you for tomorrow! It'll be a week-long NOT-SO-YOUNG-CAT MID-SUMMER LEO BONANZA (with tons of hyphens)!!! It'll be a celebration in honour of Leo. As you can probably guess, Leo gave me his approval. Woo woo! You will see this event referred to as MSLB, from now on, as the full name is TOO long, and I'm lazy. Come ON!!! I have a right to be lazy, living with a cat who hardly moves.

It's a celebration of everything Leo,including tidbits of interesting (and funny) bits from his kittenhood, and many photos and videos in every post from August 20-August 27.

First post in our Mid-Summer Bonanza will be tomorrow!

Happy 50th Post! And I just remembered something...

Yep, you read that correctly. Leo: Blog of a Not-So-Young Cat has reached its 50th post!

To celebrate, let me give you a little tidbit of information you didn't know about Leo.

The cat in the above picture, who most of you know as Leo, was actually named Leopard due to the spots. A few months later, it was decided Leopard was too long, and it was shortened to Leo. Over the years, he's accumulated quite a few nicknames.

Name: Leopard
Age: 16 years
Breed: Unknown (semi-feral)
Hair length: Short/Long (medium, really)
Coat Color: mostly Red Tabby, mixed with some other patterns.
Nicknames: Leo, Levon (Russian name), Sweet Kitty, Bitter Kitty, Puffball, Fluff with claws (as a kitten, his favorite pastime was biting and scratching people.)


Anyway, thank you for helping Leo reach his 50th post, and 1,500 pageviews! None of my other blogs have ever made it this far, and were closed down at the unwavering 120 pageviews.

I have convinced the humans to allow me to use the computer whenever I please! Ha! Now the world shall bow before me, for I will post a new post EVERYDAY!

Ahem. Leo, get off the computer. Christina here. Leo has been lazing about all day, and messing up my work when I attempt to clean the couches of his ginger fur sometimes. As most of you cat owners know, it's a losing battle. So, I have allowed him to use the computer everyday for an hour so he could entertain himself by writing a new post on his blog. The only problem is is that he keeps forgetting his password and calling me on the phone to ask what it is...anyway, don't forget to check back everyday, as you can be certain Leo will cheer you up each morning! (unless he's napping, of course).
