Christmas Special Edition: Day 2--I see no cat, do you see a cat?

Welcome to the second day of the Christmas Edition!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today, I was looking for Leo, and I couldn't find him.
I checked everywhere.
My bed:
No one here...
The laundry basket:
No one here either...
Even Leo's bed!
Um...
I see no cat. Do you see a cat?
Since I can't find him, you can have this random photo.
What if you let a cat design your home?
Well, I recently received an email with this amazing link in it.  A big thank-you to Sneha from Terry's Fabrics for sending me this. I laughed for a long while, but unfortunately, Leo saw the email...
Have you ever wondered what your house would look like if a cat designed it? Well, now you know! Of course, the moment Leo saw it he commissioned me to build one just like it. Better luck next time, Leo...
Anyway, enjoy!
Can we make it to 3000 pageviews?
Tell me...
Tell me....
Does this photo look ANYTHING like my dear surly 16-going-on-17 cat?
NO!
I know I posted part 1 of this before, but it's so amazing that just be turning his head he looks 10 years younger.
Cats, teach us your secrets! We, humans, go to the ends of the earth is preserve youthful looks, such as plastic surgery! But here---here is an amazing specimen---
Alright, you want me to admit it?
Okay.
I'm jealous. Cats never look old! When humans grow old, we have wrinkles, and our hair becomes white, and we look horrible. Cats? Pshhhh, nah. They just keep growing in size (sometimes sideways, if you get my drift) but they still look young! And moreover, a slight angle makes them look 10 times younger, painlessly and immediately!
I'll now go drown my sorrow in a tub of ice cream...
Sorry!---and Leo being lazy
I'm so sorry that I haven't posted in a MONTH! A MONTH!!!
Okay, I got to get back to my daily schedule. Anyway, daily schedule. Now.
*************************************************************************************
So, today I have a fabulous post for you...
It's an amazing photo of Leo doing his favourite thing....
BEING LAZY!
I straight up have no idea how he did this. If I stand on my head for one second I feel dizzy. When I took this photo, he had been in that position for....um....4 hours?
Uh...yeah! That's like, barely anything.
Sure, Leo, sure...
I'll see you tomorrow!
I won't!
Leo.
Okay, okay...
What?
Today, I caught Leo sniffing my shoes. And I mean REALLY sniffing. As in, stick-your-face-in completely sniffing. After I tapped him on the back, he did that trademark cat thing where the cat jumps and turns around suddenly, with that guilty look on his face.
Of course, he tried to look innocent. Too bad his background gave him away.
Me? Sniff YOUR shoes? Ew! Never!
Yeah...righttttttt, Leo.
Nothing to say...
I have nothing to say about this photo of Leo. You can just look at him and absorb all his awesomeness.
But that position though...
Leo: Well, I like it! In fact, I'm so nice, that next week, I'll give you a tutorial! Saturday School. All of you are such slackers. You haven't been doing any Saturday School, have you? Huh? What's that? I don't post about Saturday School?! Excuses!
It's a random post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
I have absolutely, positively, negatively, no idea what to post today. :D
So you can all look at this fantastic photo of Leo and bask in his glory.
That's right everyone! That's enough of laughing at my carefully planned out "mistakes". Now, bow down to your true, fantastically robed king!
"Fantastically robed", Leo? Really? What's that supposed to even mean?!
Well, just look at my perfect gold fur. And it's all ruined by that stupid black collar! You should've got me a collar fit for a king, embedded with lovely 16 carat diamonds and plated with gold!! But noooooooooo....all you care about is yourself! You don't care about me at all!
I'm sorry, you poor kitty. Do you want some treats?
No! I'm not speaking to you....wait, Treats? Okay...well...fine. But don't think for even a moment that you are forgiven! I...I...I won't sleep in your bed anymore!!! Then you will pay for what you have done to me!
I think I can live with that, Leo.
Pure Awesomeness.
I'm not going to ridicule Leo today. He actually looks cute.
Okay, not really. But he still looks nice.
If you were wondering, I knitted the blanket. The first, only, and probably last knitting project I ever finished.
Saturday School
Welcome back to Saturday School!
Today, I will teach you the Half Bunny, so named because of the half moon shape, and the way you move your legs so that they are touching the top of your head.
Step 1: Curl up in your basket so that your back is perfectly aligned with your basket.
Step 2: Tuck your head in, and cover your nose with your paws.
Step 3: Now, pull your legs up so that they are touching the top of your head. However, make sure that your feet are flat side out.
Step 4: Lift your paw and then tuck it in at a 1 degree angle behind your leg.
Step 5: Curl your tail around yourself.
Step 6: Keep one ear alert for sounds of the camera.
Step 7: Laugh at humans who try to do this cat pose and fail.
And you are done!
Simple!
I refuse.
I'm sure that everyone with a cat and a camera has more than once tried to take a picture of their kitty in a really cute position, only to have kitty turn away as the shutter snaps. Leo was sitting on the back of the couch today, looking cute. Of course I scrambled for my camera and hopped up to sit beside him a take a picture. I hoped that I'd get a great-looking photo of Leo looking right at the camera, revealing his beautiful green eyes in all their glory. This is what I got:
Oh, you want to take a photo? Hold on, let me turn my head.
Leo suddenly became highly interested in the couch pillow behind him.
Yes, Leo refused to look at the camera. Why am I not surprised?
(Nearly) Wordless Wednesday
I was going through Leo's iPhone pictures, and I see that he likes taking selfies. Let me share one with you!
I think he was attempting the duck face.
Tuesday, 29 April 2014
Busted.
I was sitting at the table writing a letter to my friend when I happened to glance over and see Leo's face fixated on something. Something that was glowing. Naturally, I stood up and walked over to him to see what it was. This is one of the disadvantages of having a basket with high sides. I couldn't see what he was doing from my seat. So, anyway, I walked over and looked down at him. This was what he did:
His expression is the definition of "deer in the headlights". He looked at me like "What? I'm just lazing about here!". He was sure that I wouldn't see the iPhone. So imagine his dismay when I said, "Can I see your paw?" Naturally, he sneakily struck a pose that made me jump for the nearest camera(an iPod, hence the horrible quality) and this photo was taken a few seconds before the iPhone "mysteriously" disappeared.
Clumsy Idiotic Idiots
Can you believe this? This is going too far! My servants begged me to allow them to invite a few people. Well, being the nice cat I am, I allowed them.
You want to invite them AGAIN? Ugh, fine. Just this once.
So they came.
And not only did they come, but they didn't pay any attention to me! THE MASTER OF THE HOUSE!!!
And that's not the worst part. Not by far.
When they were leaving, I, Leo, the cat of cats, the cat that cats only wish they could be, the great, benevolent, amazing, kind cat, master of the house, adopter of my servants, ACTUALLY GOT UP AND CAME TO THE DOOR TO ESCORT THEM, because I am so nice.
Guess what they did?
THEY. STEPPED. ON. ONE. OF. THE ROYAL PAWS!!!!!
 And they had the insolence to yell at me for being in their way!! Even though I went through all that trouble just to escort them!!
That is the last time I will ever allow any guests in my house!
Insolent idiotic clumsy idiots!
Leo's Search for Her Part 1
Leo, the hapless cat, is searching for a beautiful calico who just moved in across the street.
Unfortunately, he got the wrong number.
The number of a very clingy Yorkie.
Keep your eyes peeled for more Leo's Search for Her!
-Christina
Notice: Leo's Search for Her was inspired by Angie Bailey's Texts From Mittens. It is not meant in any way to copy the site. It is simply a part of Leo's life. If you have not yet read Texts from Mittens, do it now. Like right now. And while you're at it, I suggest Catladyland, also written by Angie Bailey. Go there now, and tell Mittens that Leo sent you!
Peace and Quiet...Finally.
I can finally relax. Can you believe it? I can't. They finally left me alone.
Is that a vase with some delicious flowers I see? Be. Right. Back.
*crash*
Leo! Was that you? No, why? What happened? I heard a crash. What crash? What? Leo! Why did you knock over that vase? I was eating the flowers! It's not my fault they're in a vase. You should've left the flowers out, but nooooo you put them in a vase! You can't blame me, because if you kept them out I wouldn't have knocked the vase over. Ha! Leo, we're having guests over today! Now, I need to clean up that giant spill. Still not my fault. FYI, my food bowl is empty. It has food at the edges. I'm telling you, it's empty!
See what I have to put up with?
Did I mention that I'm a writer too?
I, Leo, am a very talented cat. I am a fully qualified yoga cat instructor, I am an amazing teacher, and have I mentioned I am immensely good at writing? No? Well, I am. I have the best writing skills on the planet.
Don't believe me? Hmph. Well, watch this:
 What's that?
I'm not grammatically correct sometimes?
Excuse me?
EXCUSE ME?!!!!
Excuse me?!
Yeah, that's what I thought.
I have a box (another word from the Great Philosopher Leo)
I have a box. Not "I can haz box?" Contrary to the popular (and stupid, I may add) belief, we cats can spell. It annoys me so much when humans know that they can't spell because they are too dumb, and blame it on smart, sophisticated, cats. We are so benevolent as to allow these embarrassing images to remain.
P.S-My rude pets are trying to steal it, saying they need to return a computer. Can you believe this? A computer is more important than me. A COMPUTER.
