What if you let a cat design your home?

Well, I recently received an email with this amazing link in it.  A big thank-you to Sneha from Terry's Fabrics for sending me this. I laughed for a long while, but unfortunately, Leo saw the email...

Have you ever wondered what your house would look like if a cat designed it? Well, now you know! Of course, the moment Leo saw it he commissioned me to build one just like it. Better luck next time, Leo...

Anyway, enjoy!

Can we make it to 3000 pageviews?

Sorry!---and Leo being lazy

I'm so sorry that I haven't posted in a MONTH! A MONTH!!!

Okay, I got to get back to my daily schedule. Anyway, daily schedule. Now.

*************************************************************************************

So, today I have a fabulous post for you...

It's an amazing photo of Leo doing his favourite thing....

BEING LAZY!

I straight up have no idea how he did this. If I stand on my head for one second I feel dizzy. When I took this photo, he had been in that position for....um....4 hours?

Uh...yeah! That's like, barely anything.

Sure, Leo, sure...

I'll see you tomorrow!

I won't!

Leo.

Okay, okay...

Thank you for 2000 pageviews!

We did it! We reached 2000 pageviews! Leo thanks you!

THEY should be thanking me...
Leo! Shhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

Anyways, our goal is to reach 3000 pageviews! Can we do it by the end of the year?

-Christina

What?

When I took this picture, Leo was actually grooming his paws. I figured I might actually be able to procure an image of Leo grooming himself, which is the funniest thing ever. Of course, Leo turned around with an expression of "What?". The worst thing is he turned around in the literal split second between pressing the button and capturing the picture.

What? Oh, you wanted to take a picture?

Better luck next time, I suppose.

What?

Today, I caught Leo sniffing my shoes. And I mean REALLY sniffing. As in, stick-your-face-in completely sniffing. After I tapped him on the back, he did that trademark cat thing where the cat jumps and turns around suddenly, with that guilty look on his face.

Of course, he tried to look innocent. Too bad his background gave him away.

Me? Sniff YOUR shoes? Ew! Never!
Yeah...righttttttt, Leo.

I'm much more serious...

Hahahaha! Today, dear Miss Christina I'm-so-fabulous Skylarina decided she was going to come up with the idea that I, a perfectly respectable cat at the peak of his strength, like to PLAY! With string, no less! Preposterous! I managed to get onto the blog before her, so she can't post such a stupid idea!

And also---Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeooooooooooowww!

I see Leo has already tried to stop my post. No matter, I'll simply write it again. I took him off the chair and placed him in my room.

Well, really, there's not that much to write. Better yet, I'll show you.

Enjoy the proof that old cats can still play like kittens!
Yep, Leo's a liar.

Anyway, see you later!!

Because sometimes...part 2!

What do you do when your body is freezing cold but your paws are boiling? Leo clearly demonstrates  how to go about such a dilemma!!

Tomorrow is going to be a BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG POST!

Wordful Wednesday! What? What do you mean, Wordful isn't a word? Why, of course it is! Wordless is a word isn't it? So, naturally, Wordful is a word as wordy as Wordless. Wow, there are wayyyy too many words that start with W. I can't believe humans have the nerve to complain that there are too little words that start with W. Hah!

Leo, the point is, no one ever says something like what you just said above...

Hah! More excuses! Puny humans and their excuses!

Give us a moment, I'll need to sort this out. Enjoy today's post! And remember about tomorrow's BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG POST!

Oh, and then Miss I'm-so-smart Christina says I use the same words over and over.

Leo, it's purposeful. It's for emphasis,

Excuses!

Nothing to say...

I have nothing to say about this photo of Leo. You can just look at him and absorb all his awesomeness.

But that position though...

Leo: Well, I like it! In fact, I'm so nice, that next week, I'll give you a tutorial! Saturday School. All of you are such slackers. You haven't been doing any Saturday School, have you? Huh? What's that? I don't post about Saturday School?! Excuses!

Grrrr....

Okay, everybody. Listen up! I'm going to tell you their latest act of insolence! The insolence in this house is becoming unbearable! I, Leo, adopt them, give them a home, and what do I get in return? Insolence!

Leo, you've used the word 'insolence' thrice in one tiny paragraph.
Excuse me? This is MY blog. Get off of it so I can tell everyone my tale of woe.
How is it your blog? I started it. It's MY email address. So how is it yours?
Uh, hello? This blog has MY name on it!
Will you always be capitalizing MY in every sentence?
MY business is none of YOUR business! Now, where was I? Oh, yeah.

So, this week is MSLB week, correct? And didn't Miss Christina I'm-too-good-for-this-blog Skylarina promise to post ALL THE TIME? Well, she's not, and she's changed the password so I can't get on this blog anymore. "Security Measures", she said. Uh huh. I can see right through it! I mean, come on, what's wrong with the password Leoisawesome123? She just wanted to hog all the attention! But, Miss Christina I'm-such-a-genius-about-not-letting-Leo-blog Skylarina forgot to log out! Hah! Now she'll never crack my password. If only I could remember what it was...

Under-appreciation

I don't get this. After I was done in the litter box, I carefully kicked out exactly 500g of litter around my litter box in an intricate, beautiful formation. I then proceeded to trap some litter between my paws, and spread my paws at exactly the right moments to make wonderful, lovely decorations to disguise their horrible, scratched up (not my fault) black carpet. Sure, it's nice to scratch on, but that's not the point.
ANYWAY, as I stepped back to admire by handiwork, THE STUPID, INSOLENT SERVANTS I took in so long ago (oh what a mistake that was) yelled "Leo! You tracked litter all through the house!" and uttered disgusting things while they vacuumed up my Masterpiece.

HOW COULD THEY? They don't appreciate my art! Hah! It's the same with my kibble. Nothing makes me angrier than watching them feast on roasted chicken while I get tasteless, disgusting, "hairball control"dry kibble, and sometimes some sort of pasty meat. It's actually quite delicious, but you know what I mean. Hair ball Control! Hah! A) it's a beautiful work of art, B) They're the ones who need Hairball Control, what with the strands of hair EVERYWHERE! I was going to post a lovely picture, but Miss I-am-so-important Christina decided SHE had the right to erase it? Why does SHE go through MY private blog anyway? I don't recall giving HER permission.

And another thing. Miss Christina I'm-so-high-and-mighty Skylarina has BRAINWASHED me into associating the scent of cooking onion with edible, marvelous meat. Now, she tempts me by frying onion WITHOUT MY meat, and then has the NERVE to look surprised and yells at me to go away and let HER eat! Hah! The nerve of her! Doesn't she know I'm always superior to her and her hunger? Why am I supposed to care if she doesn't want to eat meat for dinner? I want meat, and that's all that counts! She doesn't appreciate my genorsity of letting HER eat at all!

I am so under appreciated in this household!

MSLB Post #2!!!

It's the second post of MSLB!!!

Leo's already tired. Leo, it's a celebration in honor of YOU!!!

Give me some peace.

Cat logic.

-Christina

First Post of MSLB!!!!!!!!

Alright!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to the first post of the first day of MSLB!! For the introduction, I have a special Leo comic, not unlike the one of Leo laughing, just for YOU! i am EXTREMELY sorry for the poor quality of the first one, but it was too good not to share.

Yay! Finally, a celebration of me. Long overdue.

What? Okay, okay, I'll settle down. What? You'll do something interesting if I do? Okay.

Well? Oh, and now I have to POSE for you too? This wasn't our agreement!

*Sigh*...this is NOT going to be fun with the camera. I need to knock it off the table harder next time.

AND THAT'S OUR FIRST POST! SECOND ONE COMING OUT TONIGHT!!

STAY TUNED!

Tuesday, 19 August 2014

Tomorrow is the first day of MSLB!!

I know, I know, I haven't posted in the past 2 weeks. However, I have something extra special cooked up for you for tomorrow! It'll be a week-long NOT-SO-YOUNG-CAT MID-SUMMER LEO BONANZA (with tons of hyphens)!!! It'll be a celebration in honour of Leo. As you can probably guess, Leo gave me his approval. Woo woo! You will see this event referred to as MSLB, from now on, as the full name is TOO long, and I'm lazy. Come ON!!! I have a right to be lazy, living with a cat who hardly moves.

It's a celebration of everything Leo,including tidbits of interesting (and funny) bits from his kittenhood, and many photos and videos in every post from August 20-August 27.

First post in our Mid-Summer Bonanza will be tomorrow!

Leo's tired from a LONNNNGGGGGG night of sleep--ahem---studying.

You poor kitty. :)

How did he ever pass school? He has 365 absents due to oversleeping!!!

New Carpet!!!

Yay! I got a new carpet!

Warm and fuzzy, nice to rub your feet against, vibrations to massage your feet. Get yours today!

-Christina

I am most certainly NOT a carpet. You see that thing near my paw? Yeah? Well, it's a heater, and nice, warm, air comes out of it. Therefore, I sprawled out to absorb some hot air! There isn't a moment of peace in this house!

Argh! The insolence in this house has reached the breaking point!

I. CAN'T. BELIEVE. THIS.

THESE...THESE...UNGRATEFUL INSOLENT CREATURES!

I allowed them to live in my house for a whole 16 years, and allowed them to wait on me, the king of kings.

I had only one condition. (Other than food, water, the right kind of treats, my litter box being scooped a millisecond after I go, a clean dish at all times, food on hand at all times, 24/7 hours of stroking, scratching behind my ears (but only for 34 seconds), scratching under my chin(48 seconds), etc.)

 See? Barely anything!

Anyway, they were to keep all the furniture in its rightful place.

Not only did they suddenly pack me up and drag me all the way from Russia to Canada 5 years ago, but now they DARE to put away an important relic from my kitten hood!

They grabbed a beautiful, totally not ripped up couch (and my favourite one) and chucked it out! The same day they stuck two ugly, weird-smelling, linen armchairs. Their excuse for it was "it's nice and breezy now that the old, torn, couch in front of the window is gone! We won't be hot anymore!"

Who CARES about whether you're hot or not? Deal with it! Warmth is awesome.

Besides I'm wayyyyyy more important than some lowly servants.
They changed my favourite couch and expect ME TO LIE ON IT!

Give me back my couch! How insolent can you get? After all the blood, sweat, and tears I poured into saving you and giving you a home you DARE to disobey me! ARGH!

It's a random post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

I have absolutely, positively, negatively, no idea what to post today. :D

So you can all look at this fantastic photo of Leo and bask in his glory.

That's right everyone! That's enough of laughing at my carefully planned out "mistakes". Now, bow down to your true, fantastically robed king!

"Fantastically robed", Leo? Really? What's that supposed to even mean?!

Well, just look at my perfect gold fur. And it's all ruined by that stupid black collar! You should've got me a collar fit for a king, embedded with lovely 16 carat diamonds and plated with gold!! But noooooooooo....all you care about is yourself! You don't care about me at all!

I'm sorry, you poor kitty. Do you want some treats?

No! I'm not speaking to you....wait, Treats? Okay...well...fine. But don't think for even a moment that you are forgiven! I...I...I won't sleep in your bed anymore!!! Then you will pay for what you have done to me!

I think I can live with that, Leo.

Really long cats

Have I ever mentioned how cats become super long when they stretch out? Of course I have. Now, I must reinforce that, again. This is most likely not the last time you will see a really long cat.

Yes, this photo was taken in 2004, 10 years ago. Leo's 16. That makes him a teen. Oh, I get the giggles thinking of Leo in a graduation cap with a Diploma. Speaking of which....

I must go see an old friend named Photoshop. Leo the Graduate, coming soon!

For now, I will leave you with Teen Leo being long.

Pat my belly. I DARE YOU.

The belly looks warm and inviting, but the eyes are steely cold, daring me to risk getting bitten to pat that fuzz ball of a cat.

Yeah? Well, dare accepted, Leo.
